News from Vegas....I live in a smut hole

Yes...so first of all I don't agree with you dad. Do you not think I am stylish? Costco jeans??!!??!?! You can do better. What ever happened to the good old days of the black LEE jeans? Those were kickin'.

Let's see...here's what's going on with me. Since teachers are paid below poverty wage, I have taken out a second job as a CHUCK -A-PUCK vendor for the local hockey team. We sit at a table during the game and sell the pucks that people hurl onto the floor during the intermission to try and hit a target. I like it, except for when they make us pick them up at the end...that is kind of stinky, but it pays the bills. Actually I am just doing it for fun..and money...but mostly fun. We get in to the hockey games for free! I signed up for all of the idaho and alaska games.

Well I was going to post some pretty sweet pictures from my lil' trip to the Elvis impersonation show, but that will have to wait because I lost my camera cord. Next time though I will be posting some of those for a little flava flave of Las vegas...I know you're all waiting in suspense for my next entry....LOVE YOU!!! Even Kyle who hates me.

...Things here are going well. We have been pretty much consumed with building our house: picking out all the little things you didn't realize you would have to pick out. i.e. the little spindles for the stairs handrails??? I didn't realize how much we actually got to decide. It is pretty exciting though because we do actually get a say to pretty much everything that is going into this house. So far I think it will look pretty sharp. :)
The girls are doing well. Kennedy is getting bigger every day and she is talking WAY more than she used to. Her favorite phrase right now is, "Don't bug me mom/dad." It's endearing :( Paige is also getting really big. She is sick right now and is really out of it laying on the couch, poor thing. I always feel so bad for them when they are sick. Avery is getting really big. She loves laying on her stomach and if we prop her arms up under her chest she will roll over from her stomach to her back. It is cute. She also loves sitting in her saucer and looking at the toys while batting her little arms at them. I took out a photo album of Paige at three months today and she and Avery are pretty much identical except for their noses. Avery has Kennedy's nose.
Anyway this is supposed to be short and sweet. I have attached some pictures for your enjoyment. There is one family one because dad hasn't seen those yet and also some pictures of Avery on her stomach. :) Love, Melyssa

Hey Guys, Great idea Lyss. Not much new with me. Just getting over a bout with the flu or cold or whatever, had me home in bed for the last 2 days, now I just have a small fever and sore throat and lungs, Only other news is I got a new cell phone, Now Kyle can quit razzing me about my old school phone. Welcome to the Blog!!!!

I am very excited about starting our little family blog. I am doing it because we are all pretty bad at keeping in contact with each other (except for Thresa). So now we can all just post blogs whenever somethings happens. This way we will all be in touch and have fun doing it!!!!
