House Update

These pictures are from about a week ago after all the drywall and texture went up. Our siding was also finished. This week we are trying to get all the painting done. I will send more pictures once that is completed. Then it seems to be going very quickly...flooring, cabinets, and interior lights go in next week and after that we just have to wait for appliances and our flat work (cement) like driveways, sidewalks, walkway, etc. to be done and we are in!!! We are still hoping that we can move in the last week of March!! Keep your fingers crossed for us. Love, Melyssa

Orme Girls Update

It has been awhile since I have written a quick update on the girls. They are all doing really well. It has been fun to see the changes in them just in the past month or so. Paige is really growing up. She is definitely turning into a little girl. She is much easier to reason with than ever before and her temperment is really evening out, not so many dramatic ups and downs unless she is overly tired. She is very helpful with Avery, playing with her, reading to her, and she wants to hold and carry her all the time. She has suddenly taken an interest in arts and crafts. She is always wanting to paint, glue, cut, and most of all color. She is really good at staying in the lines, even Tobey thought I was joking when I showed him one of the pages Paige colored, he thought I did it because she colors so well now. She loves to sound out words and tell us what letters things start with. It is cute because Paige will say, "Horse starts with H!" Then Kennedy will try to be like her and say, "Puppy starts with A!" proudly saying whatever random letter pops into her head. Kennedy is talking so much more it is amazing! She is able to express most of her ideas so it has been helping with her tantrums. She doesn't seem to throw as many now that we can communicate with her. She says funny things all the time. If something happens that she doesn't like, for example if I say, "It's time to clean up our toys," She has two main responses. The first is...."Oh man!!" and the second is, "Well,..." usually followed by the response as to why she feels she doesn't have to help like, "it's Paige's turn." or "I am not done playing!". It's pretty cute. She is definitely two which means she is either really really cute or really really naughty - there is not much in between right now. Avery is really starting to love to play. She grabs for everything. Or, I should say she swings at everything and about 50 percent of the time manages to grab the things she is swinging at. She loves her exersaucer and her little play mat with the dangling animals. Between her toys and her sisters, she is entertained almost all day long. She is still a very happy, mild baby we all love her to death. Well- that is about all that is going on with the girls, we will definitely keep you posted. Love, Melyssa

Summer Pictures

Well since I really don't have any news, I thought I would send some pics of a couple of our 4 wheeler trips. The top ones are from the railroad between Culdesac and Cottonwood. The other 3 are from a trip to Buffalo hump behind Grangeville. That is your Uncles Pat and Mike with me on the top of Buffalo Hump. This trip was 2 years ago and I was in really bad shape and I didn't know if I was going to make it. The elevation is about 9000 feet, and we had to hike the last 2000 ft. of it and it is pretty steep. Last year we hiked back up, and it was a lot easier, because I weighed 30 lbs. less and was in a lot better shape. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Love DAD

nothing to say...but feeling guilty

so I feel like a loser who never writes anything...What's new with me you might ask? I am busy getting all of my application stuff ready to apply for a job in Utah next fall. I am still torn as to whether or not I should take the pay cut and be happy or stay at my current salary and be annoyed. Happiness wins.:) now I just have to get hired. Also, I am working at hockey games left and right and I totally love that. And I probably got athe weirdest valentine's gift out of all of you...a 15 inch hand blown glass red rose...I think that I will save it forever and put it somewhere real special. Kids!...its like- Freak! just give me the money you spend on all this junk so I could buy something good. Melyssa, I might send some of the stuffed animals I got to you for the girls. They're cute and soft, but not my style...on second thought I think I'll keep the BEARS! HA! love you guys.

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Valentines Day. Here are some cute pictures of the girls. I hope you all feel very loved today - I LOVE YOU - Melyssa :)

Orme Update

Things are fine for us. The house is coming along quickly. Our windows and exterior doors went up last week. This week they have just installed our insulation, are starting siding tomorrow, and also starting drywall inside tomorrow. It will be a big week. I have attached a picture of the windows. We also made our first expensive appliance purchase of a stainless steel refrigerator today. We are pretty excited about it. As Tobey said, "Our appliances are going to look sharp!". The girls are doing well. They are so cute and whenever they say something cute, I think "Oh I need to put that on the blog!" and then I forget. I will try to be better at it. I am a little sick with a mild stomach flu (goody) and Tobey just left to go to Utah for three days for a training program with work. Other than that, things are pretty much the same here. I will send more pictures once our siding is up!!! Love, Melyssa

We Teach Em Young

Look closely at this picture to see precious little Avery making a very foul gesture. We would like to say we are proud of her individuality, but we hope she outgrows this rebelious phase!!!!

Love,

Melyssa
